No patch notes yet
Steam's news feed for the game has no patch notes as of Friday, 23 October 2026 at 02:45 UTC. That is the honest state of this section: it is empty, not hidden.

The launch post does not name the affected CPUs, and it gives no fix date for either issue. Neither do we.
Our reading
Is the launch build in good shape?
On the evidence available one day after launch, yes, with two small rough edges. The two issues Square Enix lists are cosmetic or audio problems; neither post mentions crashes, lost saves or progress blockers, and no patch has been needed yet. That is a quiet start for a game of this size.
Player reaction points the same way. Steam showed 95% positive from 350 reviews, and Valve rates the game Verified on Steam Deck, which means it passed Valve's own checks for controls, text size and default performance on that hardware.
What to do in the meantime: if the minimap or help panel comes back, hide it again; it is a display issue, not a setting you lost. If you hear crackling audio, note your CPU model and report it to Square Enix support, because the post does not say which processors are affected and reports are how that list gets filled in.

Hit a problem not listed here?
Square Enix asks players with other problems to contact its support. We are a fan site and cannot fix or escalate bugs.
Before you report, check the platform page: Steam Deck players should read the Valve notes (first launch needs internet), and if you suspect the audio noise, note your CPU model in the report. The launch post names no affected CPUs, so a specific model helps Square Enix more than a general complaint.

How we made this page
We read Steam's official announcements feed for the game on 23 October 2026 and copy only what Square Enix itself posted. Press items mirrored into that feed are left out. We summarise in our own words, link each item, and show when we last checked. We have not play-tested the game, so we cannot confirm or reproduce any issue ourselves.

Confirmed means Steam or the official site states it. Reported means press or a fan site does, not Square Enix. Our take is our own judgement. Where sources disagree we show each claim. See our sourcing rules.
Questions players ask
Is there a patch for Final Fantasy Resonance yet?
As of 23 October 2026 no patch notes had appeared in the Steam news feed for the game. The latest official post is the launch announcement of 22 October 2026. We will add patch notes here when Steam posts them.
What are the known issues at launch?
Square Enix listed 2 under "Notes for Players" in the launch announcement: the minimap or help display can come back at certain moments after you hide it, and audio noise can occasionally occur on certain CPU configurations. Both are marked as under investigation.
Which CPUs have the audio noise problem?
The announcement does not say. It only mentions certain CPU configurations, so we cannot name any.
I found a bug that is not listed. What should I do?
Square Enix asks players with other problems to contact its support. We are a fan site and cannot fix or escalate issues.
Why are community bug reports not on this page?
We list only issues Square Enix has acknowledged, because anything else would be unverified. For example, Steam discussion titles mention a window-mode resize error; Square Enix has not acknowledged it, so it is not in the table.
